Mrs.
Rutledge's collection includes Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea,
Cambodia, Sudan, Bosnia, Haiti, Yugoslavia, Somalia, Iraq,
Panama, The Philippines, Libya, Bolivia, Grenada, Nicaragua,
Lebanon, Laos, and Guatemala - among others. She even has
a chip of West Virginia, to commemorate
the military standoff with mineworkers there in 1921.
Mrs.
Rutledge does have one chip in the collection that does
not look like a country, which she calls the "Tom Ridged
Chip." This particular chip is a favorite of hers, as it
is "not only ridged, but also stiff, petrified, and unbreakable,"
according to eyewitnesses.
